Save the Baltic Sea

We produce certified organic products, with the aim to improve the well-being of consumers. This is our small but important goal that we strive for every day. Today, we are especially happy to be able to contribute our small, but purposeful goals to the big mission – the project “Save the Baltic Sea”. The term “clean environment” is familiar to us and we are happy to take care of the gut health of the team members of this historic expedition. We invite all AVIZO consumers to follow the news of the expedition together with us on the www.savebaltic.eu website and on our Facebook page. By purchasing AVIZO products, you will contribute to this noble cause together with us.

About mission

“Save The Baltic Sea” – a mission of 6000 km on foot around the sea, which started in Klaipėda, Smiltynė on 11 March 2024 and will last 9 long months. The Baltic Sea is among the five most polluted seas in the world! Each of us, sometimes unknowingly, contributes to these statistics. By joining hands, we can save our precious waters and the life in them for future generations. The main goal of this historic walk around the Baltic Sea is to attract attention of mass to reduce marine pollution in 8 Baltic Sea countries.

How we can make it?

AWARENESS

We will start the walk together with a unique communication campaign that will create waves of change at the international level in order to draw public attention to the current state of the Baltic Sea and ways to contribute to its improvement.

EDUCATION

Together with the scientific institutes of the Baltic Sea and environmental protection organizations, we will invite the citizens of each country to take a closer look at our sea and its problems, to engage in citizen science activities and clean-up work.

COMMUNICATION

The “Living Laboratory” workshops will bring together local stakeholders and community representatives, who will search for the most appropriate ways to reduce the negative impact on the Baltic Sea in each location.
